Ukrainian Journal of Physics is the general physics edition of the Department of Physics and Astronomy of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The journal is issued monthly in Ukrainian and in English. The journal was founded in 1956 (Ukrainian and Russian editions), and the English edition has been published since 2004 (prior to 1962, the journal periodicity was six issues per year). Up to 1994 the journal was published by the Publishing House Naukova Dumka. Beginning from 1994, the journal has been published by the Bogolyubov Institute for Theoretical Physics, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
